Moving house and watching your laptop die does not exactly make stories pour forth, however I am very much hoping to get back into gear and start bashing out the chapters with this fic, as the itch is still very much there and waiting to be scratched...

So I had a job interview today for a children's home in Stockport, very very excited. Seems like the perfect job for me, so just waiting to hear back.

Things are uber stressful in the house at the moment. Shell and I both have uni deadlines next week, and Lou had ofsted at work. We all had words earlier, but thankfully Kez stepped in and diffused the situation. I really cannot wait for everything to be over and handed in, and for me to get my life back.

Started writing again, just need to hang fire until uni stuff is in. Tell my muse to shhh for a bit.

So it's been stressful times recently. My grandad died fairly suddenly, which has knocked the whole family for six. I've pretty much got closure on it, although he was in my dream last night, so there is clearly some residual grief going on.

Work has been a nightmare too. I mean they were great about time off when Grandad died, but the job itself is so stressful. British Gas are good to work for and they pay well, but there's no disguising the fact that I spend all day getting yelled at down the phone. I'm looking at other options at the moment, hoping to get funding for my masters, also applying for better jobs. Ironically work have just given me my permanent contract! I had to fight tooth and nail for it but at least I don't get £100 taken out of my pay every time I have a sick day. At least I now have job security, even if it's not being paid to write or speak Spanish.

On a happier, if equally frustrating note, my love life is waking after it's loooong hibernation. It's early days but I'm getting vibes that my crush feels the same way...
